FROM THE CROCKETT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT:

EARLY MORNING BLAZE DESTROYS HOME

Alamo, TN – At 1:20am [Thursday] a residential fire on West Church Street was called into the Crockett County Sheriff’s Dept. Dispatch Center.

Alamo FD, Bells FD, Gadsden FD, Alamo PD, CCSD, and CCAS were paged to respond. The home was fully involved upon arrival and all residents were able to get out of the home without injury.

It was quickly brought under control by the fire department preventing two nearby homes from catching on fire.

The Alamo Fire Chief, Loren Haynes, called the American Red Cross to provide relief for the residents.

Chief Haynes would like to remind everyone about the importance of having working smoke detectors in every room of your house.

Our thoughts go out to the family during this difficult time.
