Non-profit partners with community to host wellness expo

JACKSON, Tenn. — One non-profit has partnered with surrounding organizations to host a wellness expo.

Persevere is an organization that focuses on helping families receive jobs, therapy, and support across the state.

This organization will collaborate with East Jackson Church of Christ to have a wellness expo.

Food will be provided with no cost.

Persevere specializes in helping those who were formerly incarcerated to receive jobs in the IT career field.

“I’ve just seen how persevere has changed my life and how its changed so many people that came in contact with it. So its something that I love so whenever I’m out in the community I speak about persevere because it changed my life,” said Youth Support Specialist for Persevere, Jabarie Jarret.

This career expo will be on Saturday, May 4th from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
