Jackson City Court holds two hearings for first degree murder charges

JACKSON, Tenn — A hearing was held today, April 24, in Jackson City Court for two men arrested for first degree murder and other charges in unrelated incidents.

Larell Collier is facing charges for first degree murder and two charges of attempted first degree murder for an incident that left 1 woman dead and two minors injured on January 25th.

Collier will be back in court in 60 days after an evaluation that was ruled by the judge.

In a separate incident, Joshua Jackson-Davenport is facing 4 charges including first degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.

According to JPD, Davenport was arrested on January 7th in connection to a fatal shooting of an 18 year old, Davenport’s bond was set at one million dollars.
