Collision involving tractor on North Parkway stalls traffic

JACKSON, Tenn. — A collision took place earlier this afternoon, April 24, on North Parkway in front of Jackson State Community College.

Our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News crew got to the scene around 4:30 p.m.

At the scene we saw two vehicles and a tractor involved.

Jackson Police Department, Jackson Fire, and EMS were on the scene, and we saw helicopters circling the area.

The roads going east and westbound were blocked off, as officials worked the scene.

According to Jackson Police Department, there were 2 people injured.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
