USJ hosts ‘Bike Day’ fundraiser for Le Bonheur

JACKSON, Tenn. — The University School of Jackson held a ‘Bike Day’ this morning, April 26, to raise money for Le Bonheur.

Children rode bikes while fun music played.

Then the Le Bonheur bicycle team rode through campus around 10:15 a.m.

At that time, the school presented them with a check.

USJ raised more than $4,000.

“It’s just a great opportunity for us to show our children here at USJ, just to love others and to help out and give as they can.” said Sarah Jones, School Counselor at USJ.

Elizabeth, a 5th grader at USJ and a Le Bonheur patient, shared that she feels lucky to have such a wonderful children’s hospital in West Tennessee.
