Youth Health Fair held in Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Tenn.—One event in a local city aims to get kids healthy.
A health fair was held today at Humboldt Medical Center located at 3525 Chere Carol Road.
The event was created to raise awareness to the health needs of elementary and middle school aged children within the area.
Several booths were set up with useful information for parents to learn more about different services offered in the community.
Organizers wanted a way to help parents gain access to needed resources and assist them in finding ways to provide needed medical care, better nutrition as well as implement good exercise habits for their families.
This event was free to attend.
