‘Shop #JacksonTN & Win’ contest offers chance to win St. Louis trip

JACKSON, Tenn. — Shopping in the Hub City could bring a big prize this holiday season with a fun way to get consumers on social media.

Woodstock on the Square is adding to its daily routine of lattes and breakfast items as the store prepares for an increasing demand in goods for the holidays.

“We’re making gift baskets and special baked goods and pies, and we’re looking forward to it,” manager Amy Moore said.

From now until Small Business Saturday — the Saturday following Thanksgiving — the Shop #JacksonTN and Win contest offers local shoppers a chance to win a trip to St. Louis by making purchases from local chamber members.

“Tag the business, and you’re going to get the chance to win a fantastic prize,” Julie Daniels with the Jackson Chamber said.

To enter the contest, go to one of your favorite Jackson Chamber locations and take a selfie. Then post it on social media with the hashtag “#JacksonTN” and tag the business.

“We’re going to take those hashtags and those that tag the businesses, and we’re going to draw at random on Nov. 30,” Daniels said.

The grand prize includes two round-trip plane tickets through Air Choice One, hotel accommodations and tickets to a hockey game on New Year’s weekend.

“Get on there, go shop, look around,” Daniels said. “You don’t have to make a purchase to win anything.”

“I think all of us pulling together and having an event like this will get everyone in the spirit together, and we can all enjoy it together,” Moore said.

The business with the most tags will also win four round-trip tickets to St. Louis.
