Arrest made for numerous drug and weapon charges
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WEAKLEY COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT:
On 05/01/24, Agents with the 27th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Weakley County Sheriffs Office, Martin Police Department, and TBI West Drug Investigative Division were involved in an investigation that led to the arrest of (S) DEANDRE BUTLER from 516 Hyndsver Road Martin, Tn on numerous drug and weapon charges.

After a long-term investigation into information and complaints of drug trafficking from the residence located at 516 Hyndsver Road, 27th Drug Task Force Agents observed DEANDRE BUTLER leaving his residence driving a spray-painted pickup truck. Agents initiated a traffic stop and arrested BUTLER on a Driving on Suspended License charge and Possession of Methamphetamine charge.
A second man JAMES MOROUNEY was found to be a passenger in the vehicle with BUTLER and was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Agents then went to 516 Hyndsver Road and conducted a probation search where they recovered seven firearms, 85 grams of Methamphetamine, 2 grams of Fentanyl, and 500 grams of Marijuana, paraphernalia, US Currency and a stolen motorcycle.
The search at the residence was conducted by Agents and Law Enforcement Officers from all the agencies involved.
BUTLER, a convicted felon, was transported to the Weakley County Jail and booked on Drug and Weapon related charges as well as Theft charges.
