Ashley Michelle Vaughn
Ashley Michelle Vaughn, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She is from Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 12 noon at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. Burial will follow at the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
Ashley was a fun-loving person who really cared about people. She had a love for helping people and loved being around children. She loved sports and enjoyed playing softball and soccer. She served in the United States Army. Ashley comes from a large family and her passing is affecting so many persons. It is hard to name all the lives she has been a part of and has touched through the years.
She is survived by her father Sammy (Heather) Vaughn; her grandfather, Bill Hart; cousins, Sandy Leek (Christy Story, Stephanie Ivey), Payton Emerson, Blake (Tabby) Boldin, Jase (Sarah) Ivey, Autumn (Corey ) Simpson, Brock and Brody Story; aunt, Carrie (Matt) Jones and Carolyn Green (Christopher & Stephanie); uncles, Larry (Deanne) Emerson, Robbie Emerson, Ricky (Kathy) Hopper and family, Mike (Jane) Hopper and family; Godfather, Kelvin Bradford and the Bradford family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Michell Vaughn; her paternal grandparents, Sammie Lee Vaughn, Sr. and Mary Ruth Vaughn, and her maternal grandparents, Larry Emerson and Judy Emerson. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
