Local organizations to host child care workshops

JACKSON, Tenn. — Upcoming local workshops will set out to empower individuals to start their own in-home child care agency.

The workshops, titled “Tiny Steps Equal Big Dreams”, will break down the essentials of launching and managing an in-home child care business.

This comprehensive workshop will cover a wide range of topics and offer the earning of a Child Development Associate Credential™!

“Come to the workshop, talk to the staff that’s there and see if this is an area or direction that you might want to go into. And they teach you how to have a quality, a high quality child care facility,” said Jill Holland, Local Government and Special Projects Coordinator for SWTDD.
