West Forest incident blocks off traffic for drivers

JACKSON, Tenn. — Multiple police were seen in a local neighborhood this evening, May 6.

Jackson police had the road blocked off on West Forest Avenue approximately between Beechwood Drive to Russell Road.

Our crew got to the scene around 7:40 p.m. and there were four police cars seen with their lights flashing in the road.

At the scene, officers could be seen walking around within the blockade.

During this time, drivers had to find alternate routes of passage.

We reached out to the Jackson Police Department and no information is available at this time.
