Two veterans marching across the country to raise awareness for PTSD
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn.-Two veterans are spreading the word and trying to raise awareness for PTSD.
Starting on Veterans Day, from Clarksville, veterans Ernesto Rodriguez and Seth Mayer are making their way across the country to Los Angeles.
Thursday, marked a special moment in their trip as they have traveled their 100th mile, making their way through West Tennessee.
During their stop in Milan, they told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News what this journey means to them.
“If you can’t get help from the VA, we’re all veterans and we all take care of each other and we can always point veterans in the right directions, whether it be re-boot combat recovery or another organization that just helps you get through the day,” said Ernesto Rodriguez, who is marching to help veterans.
They will continue on to their destination, Friday morning. After that, they plan to make stops in Humboldt and Memphis.
