The countdown is on to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift

JACKSON, Tenn. — Mother’s Day is four days away and we know you’re frantically looking for the perfect gift.

At one store, shoppers were looking for clothes, shoes, or even that most sought after Stanley Cup.

We spoke with the store’s manager who tells us not only are shoppers looking for that perfect gift for mom, they’re also looking for bargains.

“We are running a little bit of everything. Specifically for mothers right now, we’re just gearing up. We’ve been running our Mother’s Day Sale for a little bit. But we do have some of our Freely apparel right now, gonna be on sale for 25 percent off. Outside of that, we still do always have our clearance racks. We do put tons of good stuff on those so there’s always a great deal going on,” said Anthony Boack, store manager for Academy Sports and Outdoors in Jackson.
