Chester Co. woman charged with having sexual relationship with teen

CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — A Henderson woman is facing a statutory rape charge on accusations of having a sexual relationship with a teenager.

Andrea Watson, 23, was indicted Oct. 25 by the Chester County grand jury, according to a release from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

TBI agents began investigating on July 29, 2015, at the request of the district attorney general and determined Watson had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old male, according to the TBI.

According to court papers, the relationship took place during the three-month period of May, June and July 2015.

Watson is represented by Jackson attorney Rusty Larson.

Watson surrendered to authorities Nov. 1 at the Chester County Jail and was released after posting $3,000 bond.

Watson is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 20.
