Program pushes further advancement for TN state parks including Natchez Trace

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Camping and hiking season is just around the corner, so you want to find just the spot for you and the family to visit.

Natchez Trace state park has a new, more accessible way to enjoy your outdoors adventures.
The “Access 20/30” program is pushing further advancement for all Tennessee state parks.
This is additionally contributing to the ‘Go Green’ assignment in the government’s effort, by partnering with Tennessee state parks to effectively incorporate environmental sustainability.
Park manager, Chris Hill explains the work that has went into furthering the progression for state parks. He says, “Tennessee state parks is a whole department. It’s working very hard to make sure that parks are accessible to everybody no matter what their physical state might be. Whether that’s hard of hearing, or sight, or walking.”
