Jackson Arts Council hosts 5th annual Arts Backstage event

JACKSON, Tenn. — Many come together this evening, May 10, to celebrate the rich arts community of West Tennessee.

The 5th annual Arts Backstage fundraiser event was held tonight at The Ned.

The evening was filled with live music, dance, theatre performances, visual arts, a silent auction and more.

Organizers say by supporting the arts, we strengthen our economy, unify our community, beautify our city, and help spark creativity.

“We all want to love where we live and it’s great to have great stores and great places to shop. But we’re trying to really help and encourage people to be a part of the quality of life. Get out, meet other people, and this is a big part of what makes Jackson, Jackson,” said Morgan White, Executive Director for the Jackson Arts Council.

The proceeds raised tonight will go towards the Jackson Arts Council.
