Man arrested, charged with unlawful possession of firearm

JACKSON, Tenn.- A traffic stop leads to a man being arrested, charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.

According to court papers, Kendrick McMullins reportedly refused to be searched.
After being taken into custody, police said they found an unloaded 9 mm hidden in McMullins’ pants.
Investigators said the firearm was secured around his neck with a shoestring.

McMullins is being held on $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court December 8.
