Harvest Church honors mothers with tribute service
HUMBOLDT, Tenn.—One local church celebrates Mother’s Day with a special service.
Harvest Church located at 3401 Bledsoe Road in Humboldt hosted a service today dedicated to a special family member, Mom.
The service began at 10 this morning and included a tribute message to mothers from Pastor Seth Wilkerson, entitled, “God Knows How To Thread the Needle.”
The church chose the special service as a way to honor the heart of the family, those individuals that selflessly give support to their families and shape the lives of their children.
The church decided to forgo any of its afternoon activities to allow mothers to spend more quality time with their family members.
“We just want to say Happy Mother’s Day. Mothers are a gift, precious gift from God and he has entrusted you to do the best job in the world and mothers are a great thing,” said Kesley Wilkerson, Pastor’s wife.
Mothers who attended the service were also presented with a special gift.
