New music therapy room unveiled at STAR Center

JACKSON, Tenn. — A new music room in the STAR center was unveiled Friday.

Leadership Jackson said they chose this project because they were so impressed by the programs offered at the STAR Center.

“The STAR Center’s mission is to help any person with a disability reach his or her full potential, and that’s just a great mission,” Leadership Jackson member Caitlin Roach said.

About $1,700 of the money raised by Leadership Jackson was used for musical instruments. The rest was donated to the STAR Center to use as needed.
