Jackson man charged with robbery, selling stolen items on Facebook

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man is arrested after allegedly using a Facebook profile to sell stolen goods.

According to court documents, Keion Smith was arrested for theft of property after a cell phone was reported stolen from a Shell gas station on North Parkway.

The cell phone was then sold on the Facebook sale page “Buy, sell, trade Jackson TN” from a seller named “Luca Brasi,” a profile found to belong to Smith.

Smith was also charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly robbing a different victim of a cell phone and belt at gunpoint.

He remains in custody in lieu of $25,000 bond.
