Motorcyclist found dead on side of road in Henderson, THP investigates
CHESTER, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol is working to identify the body of a man found Monday on Talley Store Road in Chester County.
Not much information has been made available at this time but what is known is the fatality involved a motorcycle.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a group of men who were rabbit hunting saw the motorcycle and body and reported it to authorities.
One officer said the body is believed to have been there for several days, if not longer.
Officers had to use caution going down the steep hill off the side of the road to investigate.
Traffic on the road was diverted while investigators worked the scene and a tow truck was brought in to remove the mangled motorcycle.
The THP is working to positively identify the man and have not said what might have caused the man to crash.
