Jackson police investigate afternoon shooting outside convenience store

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating an afternoon shooting outside a convenience store on North Highland Avenue.

Officers responded around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday to the area of T-Mart Tobacco in the 1300 block of North Highland Avenue, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

Investigators found one vehicle with damage from the shooting. No injuries have been reported.
