Police release photos of persons of interest in N. Highland shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police have released surveillance images of persons of interest in a Tuesday afternoon shooting outside a North Highland Avenue convenience store.

north-highland-shooting-photosOfficers responded around 1:40 p.m. to the area of T-Mart Discount Beer and Tobacco, located at 1302 North Highland Avenue, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

Police say surveillance footage captures a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt fire a handgun at an unidentified man in a silver car. No injuries have been reported.

The suspect left northbound on North Highland Avenue in a silver Chevrolet Suburban with chrome wheels, according to police.

The Suburban was reportedly driven by a black man in a blue shirt.
