Davion Lee Browning is accused of stealing a West Tennessee Railroad truck in October from the area of James Buchanan Drive in Jackson.

Court documents say Humboldt police received an anonymous tip later that month that Browning had stolen the truck and that it was at a Vine Street home.

The truck is a 2003 Chevrolet dually pickup valued at $10,000 with $10,000 worth of equipment. The truck has “West Tennessee Railroad” on the doors.

Officers found the truck in the backyard of the home on Vine Street, according to an affidavit. When they talked to Browning, he reportedly told them he worked for the railroad company and had driven the truck home from work.

Representatives with the company told police Browning had never worked for the company and did not have permission to have the truck.

Browning is charged with theft of property over $10,000.
