West TN church brings the story of Christmas to life
SCOTTS HILL, Tenn.-One area church brought the story of Christmas to life, Wednesday night.
Scotts Hill Baptist Church presented a live version of the nativity for the third year in a row.
The manger scene, which told the story of the birth of Jesus involved around 75 people and the scenery included the entire town of Bethlehem.
Groups of 20 each were taken through the town of Bethlehem and a narrator tells the story of the night Jesus was born.
“I think the cool part is, they get to walk through Bethlehem, get to actually try to be in the town of what’s going on, to experience what happened,” said Pastor Tim Buffaloe.
Wednesday was the final night of the annual event. The church said this year, more than 600 visitors came through the live nativity scene.
