Old Country Store to host annual Christmas Eve Breakfast

JACKSON, Tenn. — Kick off Christmas weekend with a good breakfast.

christmas-eve-breakfastThe Old Country Store in Jackson will host its 32nd annual Christmas Eve Breakfast on Saturday.

The buffet includes eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and even fried bologna. Santa will also make an appearance.

The manager says people start getting in line around midnight and that they expect about 2,000 people.

“Some families have four generations that they come with, and for some families this is their Christmas, and we’re really honored to be a part of that,” Old Country Store general manager Brooks Shaw said.

The breakfast buffet runs from 5:30 Saturday morning until 2 o’clock that afternoon.

Adults cost 4.99. Kids can eat for 2.99.

The Old Country Store is closed on Christmas day.
