HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A fun event is returning to the Henderson County community.
The American Legion Post 77 is hosting the 17th annual Henderson County Folk Festival and the Legion’s Classic Open Car and Truck show.
It will be held Saturday, May 18th, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, in the Lexington Court Square.
There will be fun activities, music, vendors, food, and lots of classic cars and trucks.
“I’ve never seen a town like Henderson County here in Lexington, that people are so willing to give and it really is unbelievable and especially the way the time are today and they really just give, give, give here,” said Tom Ayers, American Legion Post 77 Honor Guard.
While it does cost to enter the car and truck show, there will be free spectator admission for the event.
