WTDTF seizes weapons, various drugs after probation search

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WEST TENNESSEE DRUG TASK FORCE

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — On, Wednesday, May 22, Agents from the 28th District out of Gibson County conducted a probation search of a home where a state probationer resides on Willard-Willimson Road.

Agents seized nearly 1 pound of methamphetamine (15 oz.), 5 weapons including a 10mm Springfield semi-automatic handgun and a sawed off AR-12, a felony amount of psilocybin, a bag of crushed pseudoephedrine, a gas generator, paraphernalia and chemicals commonly used to both manufacture and convert methamphetamine from a liquid into a solid form, approximately 1/4 pound of marijuana, scales, and more than $1,000 in drug proceeds from the suspects room and pickup truck in the driveway.

The Office of the District Attorney General, 28th Judicial District, Frederick Agee has requested a probation violation be filed and will be prosecuting this case.
