Pat Brown School of Dancing prepares for recital with nearly 300 participants

JACKSON, Tenn. — Rehearsals are taking place for Pat Brown School of Dancing’s recital on June 1st.

The recital is this Saturday, with one show at 10 a.m. and another at 4 p.m.

There are almost 300 kids participating.

There’s also an upcoming open house on June 15th.

Those who register at the open house get $30 dollars off the registration fee.

Studio owner, Kim Turner, shares that she’s grateful to parents who trust their children to the school.

“It’s not just about dance. We want to turn out responsible young adults into the world that can stand on their own two feet and, whether they’re a mother or a nurse or a professional dancer, we want them to be the best what they can be,” said Kim Turner, studio owner for Pat Brown School of Dancing.

A program for two-year-olds is starting in the fall called ‘toddlers dance.’

Plus, there will be adult hip hop and ballet classes starting next year.
