CEG Winner: Littlebird

JACKSON, Tenn. — Whether you’re vegan, health conscious, or simply looking for a new place to brunch, last month’s CEG winner has something for everyone.

WBBJ-TV partners with local businesses to give back to small businesses in West Tennessee through a monthly competition.

The winner receives a 6-thousand dollar advertising bundle.

May’s Corporate Entrepreneur Grant Recipient was Littlebird Restaurant & Bar in downtown Jackson.

The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and the familiar comforts of handmade food.

It’s an inclusive experience with vegan, gluten free, and alcohol free dishes and drinks.

“One of the dishes that really surprises a lot of folks is our mushroom steak alfredo. It’s actually a cashew based sauce but it’s surprising that there’s no dairy in it but it really tastes like a creamy alfredo sauce,” said Lauren Kail, owner of Littlebird.

Littlebird is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Brunch is available Sundays from 11am to 3pm.

Kail shares that the mission of Littlebird isn’t to convert everyone to veganism but to create a place where everyone feels accounted for.
