Doc04241020240610141209 001Gerald Lee Craddock, 79, of Union City passed away 9:40 a.m. Sunday at Jackson Madison County General Hosptial.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Scott Fields and Billy Craddock will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Clay Craddock, Jacob Craddock, Luke Craddock, Curtis Wright, John Sawyer and Chad Hicks.

Honorary pallbearers will be Craig McCartney, Kyle Ross, Donnie Alexander, Brian Turner, Alan Coffey and David Owens.

Gerald was born November 6, 1944, in Obion County, son of the late Ilar Lee “Dutch” and Mary Altie (Morris) Craddock. He married Kay (Glidewell) Craddock March 30, 1963. Gerald was an avid coon hunter and was a member of Reelfoot Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kay Craddock of Union City; three sons, Johnny Craddock and wife Ginette of Union City, Ronnie Craddock and wife Tammy of Martin and Danny Craddock and wife Kayla of Union City; seven grandchildren, Laken Wright and husband Curtis of Newbern, Jacob Craddock, Leah Craddock and Luke Craddock all of Martin and Willow Craddock, Clay Craddock and Colt Craddock all of Union City; and three great grandchildren, Madden Craddock and Fisher Craddock both of Obion and Mattie Wright of Newbern.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Craddock; and one grandson, Matt Craddock.
