Floral Cakes to offer art classes for children and teens this summer
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local bakery prepares for a busy June.
Floral Cakes Bakery is offering art classes to children while they’re out of school.
Sunday, June 16, they’ll host “Creative Kids” for ages 5 to 12.
Sunday, June 23, will be “Teen Scene” for ages 13 through 18.
Finally, Sunday June 30, is an “Arts on the Spectrum” class with the environment customized to meet the students’ needs.
The classes are each 20 dollars and take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. All materials will be provided.
“Our bakery is unconventional and we’re unconventional because we really like to pour into other small businesses and everything that we do is community based,” said Genevieve Frazier-Dupree, owner of Floral Cakes.
Floral Cakes also has events for other ages. There are art events for ladies and monthly couple date nights.
Plus, free tea parties for senior citizens on the last Tuesday of each month.
