West Tennessee’s AgResearch Center hosts pop up plant sale

JACKSON, Tenn. — Gardeners from near and far were able to shop for seasonal plants this morning.

The UT Ag Center had a pop up plant shop sale.

There were over 80 different plants to for gardeners to shop for from low maintenance to seasonal flowers.

Jason Reeves with the Agriculture Center says the hydrangeas were most sought after purchase.

These plants were curated for Jackson soil so they are able to thrive.

A first time gardener shares what she was looking for.

“I need things that are hardy but don’t take a lot of watering after you get them established and I found a master gardener who is a friend of mine and she is taking me around and she’s taken me under her wing and she is helping me find what I need,” said Roseann Donnell, a shopper at the event.
