Jackson-Madison School Board holds monthly meeting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Members of the Jackson-Madison County School Board met this afternoon for their regular monthly meeting.

Some of the items on the agenda discussed included recognition of the cast of the production on “Annie Junior”, approval of a budget amendment for summer learning camp and approval of a policy in the use of artificial intelligence program.

School leaders also talked about the accomplishments the district experienced this past year.

“There were just so many great things that went through this year and just kind of a spring board into next year as we start in the fall. With the Malesus STEM Hub online and middle school kids going down to Malesus starting in the fall, it’s going to be wonderful, and we’re just looking forward to bringing more kids and more families into our district,” said Jason Compton JMC School Board Member.

School board members will meet again in July for their regular monthly meeting.
