2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration in Alamo
ALAMO, Tenn.—One organization in Alamo hosts a special celebration for Juneteenth.
The Central High School Alumni Association in Alamo hosted its annual Juneteenth Celebration today.
The event began at 10 this morning and continued throughout the evening.
The celebration began with a car procession and also offered several activities throughout the day.
There was live music, Zumba dancers from Whitney Cobb Fitness, food trucks, bingo with prizes, special guest speakers, and a kids zone area.
A gospel concert was scheduled to follow the event.
This is the second year the group has presented this event in Alamo.
