Jackson Recreation and Parks to host free outdoor movie nights
JACKSON, Tenn. — Summer is here, and if you’re ready for nice picnic, a movie to go along with it is double the fun.
Summer Movies in the Park presented by the Jackson Recreation and Parks Department is back in the Hub City.
This is free to the public with games before the movie starts.
The movies this year are Little Mermaid, We Can Be Heroes, and Kung Fu Panda 4.
Their mission is to provide wholesome leisure services to benefit the mind, body, and spirit of all citizens of Jackson.
“Summer Movies in the Park, we do it every summer. What it is, is an outdoor movie where you can bring your lawn chair, blankets, picnics– how ever you choose to sit and watch the movie. Just come with your family, friends and have a free movie night,” said Whitney Billingsley.
The first movie showing, Little Mermaid, will take place at Liberty Garden on June 22 this month.
