Retirement luncheon celebrates police chief’s 41 years of service

MARTIN, Tenn. — Residents gathered to celebrate the service of a local chief.

A retirement luncheon was held today for Chief Don Teal of the Martin Police Department.

Chief Teal will be retiring on July 5 after 41 years of service to the city of Martin.

The city of Martin Mayor and Board of Aldermen unanimously selected assistant Chief of Police, Phillip Fuqua, to replace Don Teal.
