TriStar hosts ceremony to commemorate local first responders
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — TriStar held a ceremony Monday to recognize first responders.
Hosted at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, the event commended their swift call to action during a recent mass casualty incident.
The first responders handled their patients with exceptional care.
Without the phenomenal collaboration of law enforcement and EMS, some of the patients would not have lived.
“The EMS first responders in Carroll County, along with our partners and area VAC did a fantastic job of organization, of taking care of these patients, of getting them to the point of definitive care and that’s what we needed from them,” said Darrell Hunt, Trauma Medical Director.
Hunt reminds everyone that it’s better to be safe than sorry. When in doubt, call first responders.
