TDOH announces renovations for Carroll County Health Dept.
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — The West Tennessee Regional Health Office of the Tennessee Department of Health hosts a ribbon cutting event to announce upcoming renovations at the Carroll County Health Department.
The event took place Monday afternoon at the Carroll County Health Department in Huntington.
State and local leaders as well as the public were able to see first hand the plans for the upcoming renovations at the facility.
Local leaders say these renovations will be beneficial.
“It will be a better experience. One, it’s easier to access, we’re mindful of things like disabilities and handicapped and compliance in these ways. We’re very excited to expand some of our care options to these that will use our facility,” said Mayor of Carroll County, Joseph Butler.
Leaders say the mission of the Tennessee Department of Health, is to protect, promote, and improve the health and well-being of all people in Tennessee.
