Jackson citizens enjoy live music and lunch during Food Truck Friday
JACKSON, Tenn. — Food Truck Friday is back on the final Fridays of May through October.
Today’s Food Truck Friday boasted live music, shaded seating, and delicious food!
Musician Izzy Arthurs shared her talent and food trucks included favorite’s such as Meme’s Kitchen, Liz’s Catfish & more and Krazy Kones.
The event was sponsored by Jackson Energy Authority.
“We decided that we would make little 10 dollar vouchers for our employees and try to help them out with a free lunch on a Friday and it helps out downtown too,” said Chrissy Vandiver, benefits and employee relations coordinator for JEA.
Vandiver shares that it was good to gather JEA employees and other Jackson citizens together in one place.
