‘Red, White and Bolivar’ event kicks off Independence Day celebration early
BOLIVAR, Tenn. — One West Tennessee town gets a head start on celebrating our nation’s independence with a huge 4th of July event.
The annual ‘Red, White and Bolivar’ event beginning Friday evening at Sand Beach Lake in Bolivar.
Attendees enjoyed lots of fun, food, love music and later this evening a huge fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day.
Organizers of this patriotic event say it really brings the community together.
“This is all about fun, family, community. We have a great place we call home her in bolivar and this is an opportunity for all of us to come together and enjoy freedom here in america and we’re excited to celebrate our great country,” said Bolivar Mayor, Julian McTizic.
Best of all the event was free to attend.
The ‘Red, White and Bolivar’ event is hosted by the Bolivar Downtown Development Corporation and the City of Bolivar.
