Community members come together for ‘Bingo and Brownies’
BEECH BLUFF, Tenn. — One group is helping to keep their community entertained with fun activities this summer.
Monday evening, ‘Bingo and Brownies’ was held at the Beech Bluff Recreation Center. It’s an event for community members to come together and have fun.
Normally on the first Monday of the month, the group holds a community dinner, but this month they’re partnering with ‘Woodmen Life’ to hold an appreciation dinner for first responders that will be held next Monday.
So, Bingo and Brownies is a way for the community to still have fun. Organizers share why it’s important to have events like this one.
“I think it’s important for our community to come together to know who we are and just to have a place where we can come and actually do fun things or hang out or you know somewhere where our kids can be– feel safe if they just want to hang out,” said Lisa Lovelace, event coordinator.
They have many events planned for the future including: Giant board games, Beech Bluff Days, a 3v3 basketball tournament, a farmers flea market, and more.
