Jackson Transit Authority says bus services will not be available July 4

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) will not be operating its regular bus service on the nationally observed holiday, Independence Day, Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Service will resume on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 6:00 AM. JTA Bus Service is Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Base fare is $1.25.

Route maps and timetables are available on JTA fixed route buses, at the JTA office, 38 Eutah Street, by phone or by mail, through the app Transloc or at JTA’s website, www.ridejta.com.
