Police seek to identify woman in ID theft

JACKSON, Tenn. — Officers are working to identify a woman they say used a cloned debit card to fraudulently buy over $300 worth of items from a local store.

Video surveillance captured the woman making the purchases around 8 p.m. Jan. 19 at Walgreens located at 387 Oil Well Road, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

Police describe the subject as a black woman with a light complexion and long, straight, dark hair and wearing a black top and what appear to be camouflage pants.

Anyone who can identify the woman or has other information is urged to call Jackson police at 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-TIPS (8477).
