West Tennessee delegate attends Republican National Convention

JACKSON, Tenn. — We spoke to a delegate from West Tennessee who is attending the Republican National Convention.

Kimberly Lax, a delegate committed to candidate Donald Trump, is attending the RNC in Milwaukee.

Lax tells us that due to the attempted assassination of former President Trump Saturday, there appears to be a large uptick of security at the RNC.

However, despite recent events, she told us the mood has been light and joyful.

She also described the demeanor of former President Trump as he walked out on stage as him appearing very humbled.

We also spoke to Madison County Republican Party Chairman, Brad Greer, who tells us that since the Saturday shooting they have received a massive increase of requests for trump campaign merchandise, yard signs, and other means to show support.
