North Parkway Middle School holds meet and greet for upcoming school year

JACKSON, Tenn. — We’re now practically in the middle of summer, yet a new school year is only a few weeks away.

Late this afternoon, faculty, staff, and administrators held a meet and greet at North Parkway Middle School.

The event, held in the school’s cafeteria was a time for students and their parents or guardians to drop by to connect with the new administration of North Parkway Middle School including new principal Dr. Shemon Reaves.

“We’re gonna just continue the legacy that was already here, of the great academic success as well as the great community support that they had here and all the things that we’re doing to have our kids ready to go to high school and just teach them about focusing on their dreams so they can be college and career ready,” said Shemon Reaves, principal for North Parkway Middle School.

The first day of school for the Jackson-Madison County School System is Monday, August 5.
