Hub City Theatre Company holds improv workshop in downtown Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Hub City Theatre Company held an improv workshop this evening at Turntable Coffee Counter, on East Main Street in downtown Jackson.
This two hour workshop included beginner basics, duo and group sketches, and much more.
“So improv is great for skills for like anyone who is interested in theatre or acting or just in their really everyday life, cause everyday is improv just as is improv,” said Kara Mobley, Hub City Theatre Company Improv Co-Captain.
“Yeah, I feel like too, it helps people come out of their shell, meet new people, also it helps with speaking in front of groups, so if you have presentations at work or anything like that, I feel like improv can help with more than just acting,” said Ashley Davis, Hub City Theatre Company Improv Co-Captain.
Attendees were encouraged to get into comfortable clothes you can move in and learn more about themselves as a performer.
