EXTREME HEAT Continues, Storm Chance Northeast of Madison County Tonight
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update:

We are tracking some intense thunderstorms in western Kentucky tonight that are tracking quickly to the southeast. These storms will likely impact Henry county during the 10pm hour. There is also chance these storms impact Weakley, northeast Carroll, and Benton counties as well depending on how fast east they track and how quickly they die down over the next 90 minutes. Also, more heat is coming Wednesday as ALL of West TN. has been added to the excessive heat warning. Wednesday and Thursday could be even hotter than it was today. Catch the full forecast coming up here.

TONIGHT:
An excessive heat warning went into effect on Tuesday with a feels like temperature reaching up around 110° for all areas in West Tennessee on Tuesday. The temperature itself reached the mid 90s but it will be a very humid day as well. The winds came out of the southwest and the skies will be mostly sunny. Rain is not in the forecast in Jackson although a round of storms could clips some areas northwest of Madison County in West Tennessee early tonight. Tuesday night will remain warm and humid and drop down to the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY:
The heat will stick around on Wednesday and another excessive heat warning looks to be on the way. The feels like temperature will again reach up to around 110°. Highs will reach the upper 90s for some of us and the humidity will be thick again due to the southwest winds. Rain showers will look to stay away again for the region. Wednesday night lows will again fall down to the mid to upper 70s. Expect another day packed full of sunshine and another clear night.

THURSDAY:
The heat wave will continue for Thursday with highs again reaching the mid to upper 90s. The winds will stay out of the southwest keeping the humidity high and a feels like temperature between 105-110° during the afternoon and evening hours. Rain again is not in the forecast and Thursday night lows will drop down to the mid 70s. Skies are still expected to be mostly sunny and the winds will continue to come out of the southwest.

FRIDAY:
A few more clouds will develop during the day on Friday and a cold front will try to approach later in the day. This will bring some showers and maybe a few storms with it as it passes by. Highs will still reach the mid 90s before the front moves through. Friday night lows will fall down to the mid 70s. Temperatures will be a little cooler over the weekend. The winds will change from the southwest to the west and eventually to the northwest on Saturday. Rain chances are 30% as of now on Friday.
THE WEEKEND:
There could be a few lingering showers into the day on Saturday but we are not expecting much. Any showers that linger on Saturday will not be sticking around for our Sunday. There will be a few more clouds on Saturday, especially early in the day before a mostly sunny Sunday returns. The winds are forecast to come out of the north this weekend behind the front and that will keep the humidity down some as well. We will not be seeing any heat advisories this weekend in West Tennessee. Highs will still reach the low 90s and morning lows will be in the low 70s this weekend. Chances for rain on Saturday are 20% and 10% on Sunday.
