Man charged with kidnapping, assaulting girlfriend

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man accused of kidnapping his girlfriend Sunday went before a judge Monday morning.

Malcolm Fuller Jr. is charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest.

According to court documents, Fuller hit the woman in the face several times and tried to strangle her.

He also is accused of keeping her from leaving the apartment and blocking police from coming in and fighting with officers as they tried to put him in a patrol car.

His bond was set at $15,000.
