Running for a cause with Hopeful Hearts

HENDERSON, Tenn.—Hopeful Hearts, an organization raising awareness about infertility, held a 5k run this morning.

The run was hosted at Gene Record Park and The Wall in Henderson.

Following the run, attendees enjoyed a pancake breakfast.

For the motorcycle enthusiasts who attended, a bike run departed from The Wall at 10 am.

Throughout the day, the event provided fun for the entire family, including 15 local vendors, activities for children, and more.

They also had live music and a silent auction.

This inaugural benefit event aims to raise funds to support a local couple with fertility treatment assistance or adoption assistance.

“We just appreciate anybody that’s given time and effort into this so far. We hope to just get bigger and better from here on out so any future support would be great,” said Lindsey Weaver, event organizer.

They are looking to do another 5k run in April.
